IMPORTANT ADVICE
If you plan to travel any distance by train in Japan buy a "Greensha" rail pass, this is the first class version and is well worth the extra cost over the regular pass!!

What couriers say...........

I have just returned from Japan, I booked a courier flight for £250 return. I was absolutely delighted with this incredible saving and found the whole experience of being a courier, so easy. There was absolutely no extra effort involved and the whole service was very efficient. I flew direct to Narita and enjoyed a very pleasant flight. Thanks so much!

"I took a  courier flight to Tokyo and was very
pleased to get the date I wanted at a good cheap price of £200.  So in just a couple of trips over here I've saved
the cost of an ordinary ticket". JR

Dear David-san,
I got a ticket for a flight to Japan. It costs £250.
But they discounted from £300 to £250 because I said your name.
Thank you very much.

"Thanks for news---enjoy the magazine--we had our first courier flight to Japan in July...£350 each..stayed 3 weeks with daughter in Toyama flying there with A.N.A from Tokyo...took your advice --the bus to domestic airport--very smooth. The courier flights could n't have gone more smoothly--husband out two hours after me--by the time I'd sorted out bus and found my way around he was there. We were told we'd be charged extra for longer stay but weren't. Upgraded on return to First class--spacious--fully reclining seats--china the lot--definitely do it again". HH

TIP

On the flight to Japan you will be given the choice of cutlery or hashi (chopsticks) to eat you meals. Use the cutlery and save the hashi for use in Japan and to practise with in your hotel room. When eating in a Japanese restaurant you may be given shiny hashi, these allow the food to slide off, now use your airline hashi they will be cheap and made from rough wood, unless you travelled 1st class!  Also keep your serviettes as Japanese eating places often do not provide serviettes.
