To ask questionsabout Noritake

These are examples of Noritake tea sets that my wife and I collect. These tea sets are for two people and consist of two cups and saucers, one small plate, one small teapot, one sugar bowl and a milk jug. They come in a range of patterns geometric like the first one, flowered like the following one and regular patterns in various colours and gold. These tea sets were made in Japan for export and are not easily obtained there now. We have attended 4 weddings in Japan to each couple we have given a tea set. We do not like giving money as is the Japanese custom. The set with the orchid pattern and the first gold set below are now in Yokohama.

Of course we also collect English tea sets, two examples follow. The first is Shelley, the second Clarice Cliff 'Latona Tree' pattern. All these tea sets were made before the war. The second gold one and the Clarice Cliff are both Art Deco shape.
